Tram Strike

No trams running between 10am and 2pm on Monday 17 February and Thursday 20 February 2020
Due to protected industrial action, trams will not run between 10am and 2pm on Monday 17 February and Thursday 20 February 2020. Services are also expected to be significantly disrupted until approximately 3.30pm as the normal timetable is restored. If you are travelling on a tram at 10am, drivers will request passengers to get off at the nearest stop. This will enable trams to continue to the nearest depot.
During this time, passengers are advised to plan ahead and consider alternative modes of transport.
Metropolitan trains, buses and V/Line are not affected and will run as normal. We expect these services to be busier than usual.
A replacement bus service will run; but this will be very limited and will not service all the tram network. Significant delays are expected for passengers using this service.
